Sally is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with clients diagnosed with substance use disorders, chronic and severe mental illness and dual diagnosis. Her graduate school specialization was Holistic Studies, where she learned traditional psychology theory and intervention skills such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Theory, while integrating holistic theory and holistic intervention strategies such as Expressive Therapies, Mindfulness, Health Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology as well as spiritual traditions and practices. This background gave Sally the tools to treat the whole person, mind, body and spirit. Through individualized treatment planning, Sally’s ultimate goal is to help individuals to develop the means to restore and maintain balance in their daily lives.

Tricia’s emphasis is in depression/anxiety, developmental delays, and substance use disorders. Her goal is to empower each client to recognize individual self-worth and personal strengths to develop and maintain a positive and healthy lifestyle. She has a history providing behavioral therapy/modification with children 4-17. Tricia works with children and adolescents, adults, couples, families, and group work. Primary therapeutic approaches used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Mark has a passion for helping others.  He specializes in addiction and substance abuse counseling. He draws from several primary approaches in creating individualized treatment plans that are best suited for individuals: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Theory, Family Systems Theory, Person Centered and Transactional Analysis.  Mark is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. His areas of clinical specialization include family, relationship and individual (children, teens and adults) counseling addressing depression, grief, anxiety, relationships, addiction, disability and anger management.

Karen has a very vast and distinct work history and experience base. She is an integral part of our Crosspointe Family Services team. Karen is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is Nationally Certified in Critical Incident Stress Management Response. She is also certified in Cognitive Self Change and Global Assessment of Individual Needs (GAIN), and a certified trainer of Moral Reconation Therapy and Cognitive Self Change.  Her specialties include addictions counseling, MRT Group Mediation and corrections management.  Karen works with children, adults, couples and families. Her counseling goal is to make a difference in the lives of her clients by empowering them to restore life balance and happiness.

Melissa has over 10 years counseling experience working with people of all ages who struggle with mental/behavioral health issues as well as substance abuse issues. She is a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Melissa believes everyone is capable of change and at the heart of change is the relationship between client and counselor. Melissa practices from a cognitive behavioral therapy stance, although she does incorporate interventions from other therapeutic tenants such as person centered and family systems theory. Melissa has a passion for helping others; she loves working with adolescents and young adults, helping these young people to overcome challenges that their life has presented them. Melissa specializes in family counseling, and individual counseling focusing on depressive and mood disorders, anxiety, grief and neurocognitive issues such as ADHD.

Jennie has experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a variety of behavioral and mental health issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and conduct disorders. Jennie enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She utilizes different approaches within Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and focuses on interpersonal relationships, connection and fostering resiliency.  Jennie is also the coordinator for the Community Based Rehabilitation Program, Family Support Services and Peer Support Services programs.

Sheila is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has worked in the mental health field for the past 12 years. She words with individuals 14 years and older and couples. While being skilled to treat many mental health issues, her main focus is self-compassion, emotional and verbal abuse, and trauma recovery. Carolyn is a professional and caring Licensed Clinical Social Worker, utilizing 12 years of work experiences in counseling with those experiencing mental health challenges. She comes from a strength based background, encouraging and building healthy coping and stress reduction techniques within a wide range of distress.  

Carolyn creates an environment where growth is promoted, using principles of genuineness, acceptance and caring for self in relationship with others and supporting empathic understanding. She believes people can achieve deep and lasting change when given the tools that support their strengths and abilities.

Felix is most interested in the neuroscience of mental health. His focus is with mental health trauma. Felix is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a Certified EAGALA Professional. One of Felix's passions is the use of horses in the mental health therapy process. He has been using horses in the therapy process for five years. Felix enjoys working with children and adolescents on their decision making process and helping them live a better life. He works with adults who have experienced chronic trauma or are survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse or physical abuse. Felix is a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer with 23 years of service. His hobbies are riding motorcycles, camping and trekking, archery and shooting, and anything to do with horses.
